BBQ Chicken Sliders

Description

Tender, juicy chicken drenched in smoky BBQ sauce, nestled between soft Hawaiian rolls, topped with gooey cheese and fresh herbs—perfect for game day or family gatherings!

Ingredients

  • Cooked chicken (shredded)
  • BBQ sauce
  • Gouda cheese (sliced)
  • Hawaiian rolls
  • Onion (chopped)
  • Cilantro (chopped)
  • Garlic herb butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, shred your cooked chicken and mix it with your favorite BBQ sauce until well coated.
  3. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally and lay the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  4. Generously layer the BBQ chicken over the bottom of the rolls.
  5. Top the chicken with slices of Gouda cheese, then sprinkle chopped onion and cilantro on top for extra flavor.
  6. Place the top half of the Hawaiian rolls over the chicken and toppings.
  7. Brush a generous amount of garlic-herb butter over the top of the rolls for a golden, crispy finish.
  8. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 15-20 minutes.
  9. After that, remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and crispy.
  10. Serve warm, and prepare for compliments!

Notes

Use rotisserie chicken to save time and toast rolls for extra crunch. Make ahead and store assembled for convenience.
