Description

Delightful black bean burgers that are nutritious and packed with flavor, perfect for any meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 can Black beans
  • 1/4 cup fresh Cilantro
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1/2 small Onion, diced
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 tsp Chili powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp ground Cumin
  • 1/2 cup plain or seasoned Breadcrumbs
  • 4 Burger buns


Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or stovetop skillet over medium heat.
  2. Mash the black beans using a fork or potato masher until they’re mostly smooth.
  3. Add the chopped cilantro, minced garlic, diced onion, egg, chili powder, salt, pepper, cumin, and breadcrumbs to the bowl. Mix everything thoroughly until well combined.
  4. Shape the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties.
  5. Cook the patties on the grill or skillet for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are heated through and have developed a light crispiness.
  6. Serve the patties on burger buns with your favorite toppings, and enjoy every bite!
