Ingredients
- 1 can Black beans
- 1/4 cup fresh Cilantro
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1/2 small Onion, diced
- 1 large Egg
- 1 tsp Chili powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp ground Cumin
- 1/2 cup plain or seasoned Breadcrumbs
- 4 Burger buns
Instructions
- Preheat your grill or stovetop skillet over medium heat.
- Mash the black beans using a fork or potato masher until they’re mostly smooth.
- Add the chopped cilantro, minced garlic, diced onion, egg, chili powder, salt, pepper, cumin, and breadcrumbs to the bowl. Mix everything thoroughly until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties.
- Cook the patties on the grill or skillet for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are heated through and have developed a light crispiness.
- Serve the patties on burger buns with your favorite toppings, and enjoy every bite!
