Description
A delicious and convenient breakfast featuring creamy oats sweetened with brown sugar and ripe bananas.
Ingredients
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 4 tablespoons chia seeds
- 3-4 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 cup mashed banana (approximately 2 ripe bananas)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pinch salt
- ¼ teaspoon cinnamon (or more to taste)
- 2 cups milk of your choice (dairy or non-dairy)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, chia seeds, brown sugar, mashed bananas, cinnamon, salt, vanilla extract, and milk.
- Stir until everything is well combined.
- Cover the bowl with a lid or plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- When ready to enjoy, top with your choice of fruits, nuts, or yogurt as desired.
Notes
Leftover oats can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
