A quick and easy no-cook breakfast made with rolled oats, chia seeds, brown sugar, bananas, and milk, perfect for busy mornings.
Ingredients
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 4 tablespoons chia seeds
- 3-4 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 cup mashed banana (about 2 ripe bananas)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 pinch salt
- ¼ teaspoon cinnamon (or more, to taste)
- 2 cups milk (dairy or plant-based)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, add the rolled oats and chia seeds.
- Stir in the brown sugar, mashed bananas, cinnamon, salt, vanilla extract, and milk. Mix until well combined.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Stir the mixture before serving and top with your favorite toppings.
Notes
Best enjoyed with seasonal fruits, nuts, or a drizzle of honey or maple syrup. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
