Ingredients
- 1/2 cup oats (quick or rolled)
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 2-4 medjool dates (adjust for sweetness)
- 3/4 cup almond milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
- Melted dark chocolate (for topping)
- Fresh berries (for serving)
- Coconut flakes (optional for topping)
Instructions
- In a high-powered blender, combine the oats, chia seeds, cocoa powder, medjool dates, almond milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
- Blend until you achieve a smooth, creamy consistency.
- Pour the mixture into a jar or a sealed container, ensuring it’s well-covered.
- Refrigerate overnight, or let it sit for at least four hours.
- The next morning, give the mixture a good stir and serve with melted dark chocolate, fresh berries, or coconut flakes.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to five days. For longer storage, freeze the mixture in a freezer-safe jar.
