Buckeye Fudge


Description

A delightful blend of creamy peanut butter and rich chocolate, perfect for celebrations and family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil


Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, melt the peanut butter and unsalted butter over low heat, stirring until smooth.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and powdered sugar. Mix until well combined.
  3. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of a greased 9×9 inch baking dish.
  4. In another saucepan, melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips with the vegetable oil over low heat, stirring until smooth.
  5. Pour the chocolate mixture over the peanut butter layer in the baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until firm.
  7. Cut into squares and serve your delicious buckeye fudge!

Notes

You can substitute creamy peanut butter for crunchy peanut butter for added texture or use dairy-free chocolate chips for a vegan version.
