Cajun Chicken Pasta


Description

Ingredients

  • Pasta (penne or fettuccine)
  • Chicken breast
  • Cajun seasoning
  • Heavy cream
  • Garlic
  • Bell pepper
  • Onion
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper


Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Season the chicken breast with Cajun seasoning. Add it to the skillet and cook until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add minced garlic, chopped bell pepper, and diced onion. Sauté until tender, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream, mixing well.
  7. Slice the cooked chicken and return it to the skillet.
  8. Add the drained pasta and toss to coat everything well.
  9. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  10. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Garnish with freshly chopped parsley or grated Parmesan cheese. Pair with Caesar salad or garlic bread for a complete meal.
