Cajun Steak Tips with Cheesy Rigatoni

Ingredients

  • 1 lb steak tips
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 8 oz rigatoni pasta
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Season the steak tips with Cajun seasoning and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Cook the rigatoni according to the package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned steak tips and cook until browned to your desired doneness. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted smoothly.
  5. Toss the cooked rigatoni into the cheese sauce, followed by the cooked steak tips. Mix well to combine.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

For an even richer flavor, add a splash of white wine to the cream sauce while simmering. Consider using pre-cut steak or chicken for a quicker meal.
