Description

Delightful tart-sweet candied cranberries that add elegance to any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup powdered sugar


Instructions

  1. Rinse the cranberries under cool water and set aside to drain.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine the water and granulated sugar over medium heat. Stir until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Remove the saucepan from heat and let it cool slightly.
  4. Soak the cranberries in the sugar syrup for about 30 minutes.
  5. Drain the cranberries and roll them in powdered sugar until fully coated.
  6. Spread the sugar-coated cranberries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and allow them to dry for about one hour.
  7. Serve and enjoy as a snack or decoration!

Notes

For a twist, add vanilla extract or consider coating them in chocolate.
