A quick and satisfying wrap filled with cheesy chicken and garlic, perfect for weeknight dinners or picnics.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 4 large tortillas or wraps
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Butter or oil for grilling
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, minced garlic, and half of the shredded cheese. Mix until evenly combined.
- Stir in the chopped parsley and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Lay a tortilla flat and place a generous spoonful of the chicken mixture down the center.
- Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheese over the filling.
- Roll the tortilla tightly around the filling, tucking the ends to form a neat wrap.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little butter or oil to coat the surface.
- Place each wrap seam-side down in the skillet and cook until golden, about 3–4 minutes. Flip and brown the other side for another 3–4 minutes.
- Remove from the skillet, let rest for a minute, then slice in half and serve warm.
Notes
For a tangy bite, use sharp cheddar. Consider swapping cream cheese for ricotta for a silkier texture or use jackfruit for a vegetarian option.
