Ingredients
- 8 oz pasta (any shape)
- 1 lb ground beef (or ground turkey)
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar recommended)
- 1 can diced tomatoes (with or without green chilies)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked and drain any excess fat.
- Sprinkle the taco seasoning over the cooked beef, stirring well to combine.
- Add the can of diced tomatoes and the drained pasta to the skillet, mixing thoroughly to ensure everything is coated in flavor.
- Top the dish with the shredded cheese, letting it melt over the warm pasta.
- Serve hot, straight from the skillet.
Notes
Serve with fresh cilantro, sour cream, or jalapeños for extra flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days or freeze for up to two months.
