A delightful twist on classic favorites, this dish combines seasoned ground chicken in a rich Alfredo sauce, served on fluffy hamburger buns.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1 cup Alfredo sauce
- 4 hamburger buns
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the ground chicken and cook until it’s browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the Alfredo sauce and let it simmer gently for about 5 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Lightly toast the hamburger buns while the chicken mixture simmers.
- Spoon the chicken Alfredo mixture onto the bottom half of each bun generously.
- Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and garnish with chopped parsley, if desired.
- Place the top half of the bun on each sandwich and serve immediately.
Notes
For added flavor, sauté onions or garlic alongside the ground chicken. For some heat, add red pepper flakes to the sauce.
