Ingredients
- 12 ounces fettuccine pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups chicken breast, cooked and sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Once done, drain it and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Stir in the cooked chicken breast and heat for a few minutes until warmed through.
- Pour in the heavy cream and stir continuously, bringing the mixture to a simmer.
- Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese while stirring until melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Toss the cooked fettuccine into the skillet, coating it well with the sauce.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
For even creamier Alfredo, consider adding cream cheese or using freshly grated Parmesan. Don’t hesitate to experiment with seasonings and pasta types!
