Description

Festively decorated deviled eggs resembling Christmas trees, perfect for holiday gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 dozen eggs
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 3 tablespoons dill pickle relish
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill (plus more for garnish)
  • 1 drop green food coloring (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup diced red bell pepper (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Place eggs in a large pot and cover with boiling water. Cook for 12 minutes.
  2. Transfer eggs to a bowl of ice water to cool for 12 minutes.
  3. Peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise. Remove yolks and place in a food processor.
  4. Add mayonnaise, mustard, pickle relish, parsley, dill, food coloring, salt, and pepper to yolks. Process until smooth.
  5. Fill egg whites with the yolk mixture, piping it in a triangle shape.
  6. Garnish with diced red bell pepper and additional dill.

Notes

Use older eggs for easier peeling. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
