Description

Delicious cinnamon rolls filled with Nutella, perfect for breakfast or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup Nutella
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for icing, optional)
  • 1 tablespoon milk (for icing, optional)


Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  2. Pour in the warm milk, melted butter, and cracked egg. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. On a floured surface, knead the dough for about 5-10 minutes until it’s smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and allow it to rise until it has doubled in size (about 1 hour).
  5. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Roll out the risen dough into a rectangular shape and spread Nutella evenly across the surface.
  7. Sprinkle ground cinnamon generously over the Nutella layer.
  8. Starting from one edge, roll the dough tightly to form a log, then slice it into rolls.
  9. Arrange the rolls in a greased baking pan and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  10. Bake in the oven for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  11. For icing, combine powdered sugar and milk until desired consistency is reached, then drizzle over the warm rolls. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Best enjoyed warm with a cup of coffee or milk. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature or refrigerate for up to a week.
