Ingredients

  • 1 cup crushed peppermint candies
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 tablespoons milk (if needed for consistency)


Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat together the softened butter and powdered sugar until well combined.
  2. Stir in cocoa powder, crushed peppermint, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. If the mixture is too dry, add 1-2 tablespoons of milk until it reaches a workable consistency.
  4. Roll the mixture into small sticks or your preferred shapes and place them on a lined baking sheet.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  6. Optionally, drizzle with melted chocolate and top with additional crushed peppermint before serving.
