Description
This classic cottage cheese fruit salad is creamy, vibrant, and packed with protein. Perfect for a speedy breakfast, light lunch, or a healthy dessert.
Ingredients
2 cups full-fat cottage cheese
1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
1 cup blueberries
1 cup chopped melon or pineapple
1 cup mandarin oranges (canned, well drained)
1 kiwi, chopped
1–2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Toasted nuts or granola for garnish (optional)

Instructions
If desired, blend the cottage cheese in a food processor for 30–60 seconds until smooth and creamy.

Transfer the cottage cheese to a large mixing bowl.
Gently fold in the fresh and/or canned fruit using a spatula, being careful not to crush delicate fruits.

Stir in honey, maple syrup, or vanilla extract if using.

Top with toasted nuts or granola for extra crunch, if desired.
Serve immediately or refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
Notes
For best results, use fresh fruit when possible. If using canned or frozen fruit, make sure to drain well to avoid excess liquid.
