Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 1 can black beans
  • 1 can diced tomatoes

  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking


Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat a splash of olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
  2. Stir in the minced garlic and let it cook for another minute.
  3. Add the ground beef to the pot, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon. Cook until browned.
  4. Sprinkle in the chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly to combine.
  5. Add the kidney beans, black beans, and diced tomatoes. Stir well to incorporate all ingredients.
  6. Bring the chili to a gentle simmer, then reduce the heat. Cover the pot and let it cook for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
