Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can kidney beans
- 1 can black beans
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Olive oil for cooking
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat a splash of olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
- Stir in the minced garlic and let it cook for another minute.
- Add the ground beef to the pot, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon. Cook until browned.
- Sprinkle in the chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly to combine.
- Add the kidney beans, black beans, and diced tomatoes. Stir well to incorporate all ingredients.
- Bring the chili to a gentle simmer, then reduce the heat. Cover the pot and let it cook for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
