Ingredients
- 1 can crescent roll dough (8-count)
- 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
- ¼ cup powdered sugar
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup whole berry cranberry sauce
- Optional: chopped pecans or orange zest for topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease or line a mini muffin tin with liners.
- In a medium bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and thoroughly combined.
- Gently separate the triangles of crescent dough and cut each triangle in half.
- Press each piece into the muffin cups, forming a small cup.
- Spoon about 1 teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture into each dough cup, followed by cranberry sauce on top.
- If using, sprinkle nuts or orange zest on top.
- Bake for 11 to 13 minutes, or until golden brown. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For a festive presentation, arrange on a platter with fresh cranberries. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
