Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup fresh cranberries, chopped
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Zest of 1 orange
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together the melted butter, egg, orange juice, and orange zest.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Gently fold in the chopped cranberries.
- Transfer the batter to the loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before moving it to a wire rack.
