Description

A comforting and delightful creamy pesto pasta that is quick to prepare and perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 450g Penne pasta
  • 1/2 cup Pesto
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 and 1/2 cups Heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp Chili flakes
  • Salt and black pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Cook the penne pasta according to the package instructions until al dente.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and chili flakes, sautéing until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the pesto, heavy cream, and milk. Mix well until the ingredients are combined and heated through.
  4. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet. Toss to ensure every piece is coated in that delicious sauce.
  5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and black pepper to enhance the flavors.
  6. Heat for one more minute, then serve immediately while it’s warm and creamy.

Notes

Consider garnishing with extra Parmesan cheese and fresh basil leaves for added flavor. A side salad or crusty bread pairs wonderfully with this dish.
