Description

A heartwarming and creamy tomato garlic pasta that’s quick to make, perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz Spaghetti or fettuccine
  • 1 cup ripe Tomatoes, chopped
  • 4 cloves fresh Garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh Basil, chopped
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin Olive oil
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti or fettuccine according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Toss in the chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften, releasing their juices.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream, allowing it to simmer for a few minutes, then season with salt and pepper.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to combine everything well.
  6. Finish with fresh basil, then serve immediately.
