Delightful chicken tenders that are baked for a healthier twist on a classic favorite.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Chicken tenders
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • Cooking spray
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp Milk


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare the baking sheet with cooking spray.
  2. Create your breading station with flour, beaten eggs mixed with milk, and a breadcrumb mixture with seasonings.
  3. Dip each chicken tender first in flour, then in the egg mixture, and finally coat well with the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Arrange the breaded chicken tenders on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Spray the tops of the chicken tenders lightly with cooking spray.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Serve hot with your choice of dipping sauce or sides.

Notes

For extra crispiness, let the breaded tenders sit in the fridge for about 30 minutes before baking.
