Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 packet of Italian seasoning
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 8 oz angel hair pasta
- Parmesan cheese for serving
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of your slow cooker.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the cream cheese, cream of chicken soup, Italian seasoning, and chicken broth until smooth.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours until the chicken is thoroughly cooked.
- About 30 minutes before serving, cook the angel hair pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
- When the chicken is done, shred it in the sauce using two forks.
- Serve the shredded chicken and sauce over the pasta, topped with Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley.
Notes
For added richness, consider incorporating sautéed mushrooms or spinach. Swap angel hair pasta for a low-carb alternative if desired.
