Ingredients
- 1 turkey breast (about 4-5 pounds)
- 1 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cranberry sauce, chicken broth, brown sugar, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create a glaze.
- Place the turkey breast in your Crock Pot, ensuring it sits nicely.
- Pour the cranberry mixture over the turkey, coating it thoroughly.
- Cover the Crock Pot and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until the turkey is thoroughly cooked and tender.
- Once it’s done, carefully remove the turkey, slice it, and drizzle with the remaining glaze from the pot.
- If desired, garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, consider searing the turkey breast before placing it in the Crock Pot. You can also experiment with different herbs and add ingredients like chopped apples or a splash of orange juice to the glaze for a fruity twist.
