Description

Creamy and buttery mashed potatoes made effortlessly in a crockpot, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds of potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
  • 1 cup of chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 4 tablespoons of butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: garlic powder, sour cream, or cream cheese


Instructions

  1. Place the peeled and cut potatoes into the crockpot.
  2. Add the chicken or vegetable broth over the potatoes.
  3. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the potatoes are tender enough to mash.
  4. Once they’re cooked, add the milk, butter, salt, and pepper directly into the crockpot.
  5. Use a potato masher or a fork to mash the potatoes to your desired consistency.
  6. If you’re feeling adventurous, stir in any optional ingredients like garlic powder, sour cream, or cream cheese for extra flavor.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!
