Ingredients
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1 finely chopped onion (or shallots)
- 1 cup grated cheese (like Swiss or Gruyère)
- ½ cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Whisk together eggs and cottage cheese in a large bowl until smooth.
- Stir in grated cheese and finely chopped onion (or shallots).
- Add milk, salt, and pepper to taste. Mix to combine.
- Grease a pie pan or quiche dish, then pour the egg mixture into it.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the top is golden and the quiche is set.
- Allow it to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
