Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup frosting (your choice of color)
- Sprinkles or edible decorations
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add in the vanilla extract and eggs, mixing until fully incorporated.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Spread the cookie dough evenly into the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cookie cake to cool completely in the baking pan.
- Once cooled, frost the top with your favorite frosting and decorate with sprinkles.
- Cut into squares and serve.
Notes
