Description

Delight in these bite-sized churro treats, baked to crispy perfection and coated in cinnamon sugar—a festive dessert for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 large Eggs
  • 2 packed tablespoons Brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Ground cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups Plain flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Fine salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence
  • 5 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 1/4 cups Water


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Whisk the eggs and brown sugar together until frothy.
  3. Combine the plain flour, ground cinnamon, fine salt, and granulated sugar in another bowl.
  4. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the egg mixture, stirring until smooth.
  5. Bring the water and unsalted butter to a boil in a saucepan, then add this mixture to your batter and mix until combined.
  6. Spoon the batter into greased mini muffin tins or pipe into shapes on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, until golden brown and puffed up.
  8. Let them cool slightly before rolling in a cinnamon-sugar mixture and enjoy warm!

Notes

Serve with chocolate sauce or caramel dip for an extra touch. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to two days.
