Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh Blueberries
- 6 large Eggs
- ½ cup Maple syrup
- 1 tsp ground Cinnamon
- ½ cup Powdered sugar
- 1 pinch Salt
- 2 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 cup Whipped cream
- 1 loaf Challah or brioche bread
- ½ cup Heavy cream
- 2 cups Milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt in a large bowl until well blended.
- Tear the bread into bite-sized pieces and add it to the egg mixture. Gently fold in the blueberries.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking pan and let it sit for about 20-30 minutes, or refrigerate overnight if prepped ahead.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until golden brown and set.
- Dust with powdered sugar and serve with whipped cream.
Notes
For a twist, try adding a pinch of nutmeg or different fruits like strawberries. Serve warm with a side of crispy bacon or fresh fruit salad.
