Description

A delightful blend of fluffy bread, juicy blueberries, and warm spices, all baked to perfection in one heavenly dish. Perfect for brunch gatherings or cozy breakfasts.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh Blueberries
  • 6 large Eggs
  • ½ cup Maple syrup
  • 1 tsp ground Cinnamon
  • ½ cup Powdered sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 2 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Whipped cream
  • 1 loaf Challah or brioche bread
  • ½ cup Heavy cream
  • 2 cups Milk


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt in a large bowl until well blended.
  3. Tear the bread into bite-sized pieces and add it to the egg mixture. Gently fold in the blueberries.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased baking pan and let it sit for about 20-30 minutes, or refrigerate overnight if prepped ahead.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until golden brown and set.
  6. Dust with powdered sugar and serve with whipped cream.

Notes

For a twist, try adding a pinch of nutmeg or different fruits like strawberries. Serve warm with a side of crispy bacon or fresh fruit salad.
