Description

A delightful and convenient breakfast option made with rolled oats, almond milk, and brown sugar, perfect for busy mornings.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups almond milk (or any milk of your choice)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 3 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • A pinch of salt
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional but recommended!)


Instructions

  1. Add 1/2 cup of rolled oats and 1/2 cup of almond milk into each of four individual 8 oz. mason jars and stir well.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, brown sugar, a pinch of salt, and maple syrup until cohesive.
  3. Pour one-fourth of this brown sugar mixture into each jar and stir to mix thoroughly.
  4. Cover the jars with lids and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or ideally overnight.
  5. When ready to enjoy, remove from the fridge and top with chopped pecans, additional brown sugar, or maple syrup as desired.

Notes

For best results, use high-quality ingredients. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
