A quick and creamy Chicken Alfredo recipe that transforms an ordinary weeknight dinner into something special.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced chicken breast, cooking until no longer pink and nicely browned.
  3. Stir in minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally.
  5. Add grated Parmesan cheese and stir until melted into the sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Add cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss until well-coated in the Alfredo sauce.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Consider swapping the fettuccine for another type of pasta or using half-and-half for a lighter option.
