Description

A creamy, savory slow-cooked dish of tender chicken, ranch seasoning, and crispy bacon that’s perfect for busy nights or gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of your crock pot.
  2. Evenly sprinkle the ranch seasoning over the chicken.
  3. Cut the cream cheese into cubes and place them atop the seasoned chicken.
  4. Cover the pot and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is tender.
  5. Once the chicken is done, shred it in the pot. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, and chopped green onions until combined.
  6. Serve on its own, on toasted buns, or with soft tortillas.

Notes

Great for sandwiches, tacos, or as a dip for chips. Feel free to customize with low-fat cream cheese or different seasonings.
