Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • 2 tbsp Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1/3 cup Vegetable oil
  • 2 cups Buttermilk
  • Optional: fresh berries, whipped cream, maple syrup, butter, cooking spray


Instructions

  1. Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  2. Mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, granulated sugar, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Whisk the eggs in another bowl, then add the buttermilk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients; mix gently, being careful not to overmix.
  5. Lightly spray the waffle iron with cooking spray to ensure they don’t stick.
  6. Pour the batter into the preheated waffle iron, and cook until golden brown (about 3-5 minutes).
