Ingredients
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 2 tsp Baking powder
- 1/2 tsp Baking soda
- 2 tbsp Granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 2 large Eggs
- 1/3 cup Vegetable oil
- 2 cups Buttermilk
- Optional: fresh berries, whipped cream, maple syrup, butter, cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, granulated sugar, and salt in a large bowl.
- Whisk the eggs in another bowl, then add the buttermilk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients; mix gently, being careful not to overmix.
- Lightly spray the waffle iron with cooking spray to ensure they don’t stick.
- Pour the batter into the preheated waffle iron, and cook until golden brown (about 3-5 minutes).
- Serve warm with your choice of fresh berries, whipped cream, maple syrup, or butter.
