Description
Fudgy Football Brownies are a delightful treat perfect for game day or parties, combining rich chocolate flavors with a fun football shape.
Ingredients
- 1 box brownie mix (your favorite brand)
- 1/2 cup vegetable or canola oil
- 1/3 cup hot coffee (freshly brewed)
- 1 egg
- 1 cup chocolate chips (for ganache)
- 1/3 cup heavy cream (hot, for the ganache)
- 1/3 cup white chocolate chips (for piping the laces)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the brownie mix, oil, hot coffee, and the egg. Whisk until just combined; avoid overmixing.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly. Bake for about 20 minutes until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan. Once set, use a football-shaped cookie cutter to cut out football shapes.
- If the brownies feel soft, freeze them for 10-15 minutes to firm them up.
- For the ganache, place the chocolate chips in a heatproof bowl. Heat the heavy cream until steaming, then pour it over the chips and whisk until smooth.
- Dip the tops of each brownie into the ganache and chill in the fridge until set.
- Melt the white chocolate chips and pipe the laces onto each brownie. Chill again until set, then serve.
Notes
Store brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for up to a week. They can also be frozen uncut for up to 3 months.
