Juicy chicken breasts bathed in garlic butter and herbs, roasted to perfection for a quick and delicious weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a medium baking dish.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, dried thyme, dried rosemary, and a generous pinch of salt and pepper.
- Place the chicken breasts in the baking dish and pour the garlic-butter mixture evenly over the breasts.
- Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes, then garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
For a dairy-free version, use plant-based butter or olive oil. You can also substitute dried herbs with fresh ones.
