Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (5–8 oz. each)
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Pound the chicken to a ½ inch thickness using a meat mallet.
- Season both sides of the chicken with paprika, salt, and pepper.
- In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning. Stir until well mixed.
- (Optional) Sear the chicken breasts in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat with olive oil for about 2 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Spoon the garlic butter sauce over the chicken breasts, ensuring an even coating.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 425°F for 15-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving. Drizzle any remaining garlic butter over the top.
Notes
For added flavor, consider adding red pepper flakes or grated Parmesan during the last minutes of baking.
