Description

Savory, bite-sized rollups filled with seasoned ground beef and cheddar cheese, baked to golden perfection.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced (about 23 cloves)
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough (usually 8 triangles)
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and break it up with a spatula.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Cook until the beef is browned and fully cooked.
  4. Drain any excess fat from the skillet and return the beef to the heat briefly to remove extra moisture.
  5. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles on a clean surface.
  6. Spoon about a heaping tablespoon of the beef mixture onto the wide end of each triangle. Sprinkle a little shredded cheddar over the beef.
  7. Roll each triangle up from the wide end toward the point, pressing the seam to seal. Place the rollups seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Brush the tops with the melted butter and sprinkle with chopped parsley if desired.
  9. Bake for 12–15 minutes, until the dough is puffed and golden brown.
  10. Remove from the oven and let rest 2–3 minutes. Serve warm and enjoy the cheesy, juicy rollups.

Notes

These rollups can be served with classic burger condiments on the side and are great for meal prep.
