Juicy Greek Chicken Burgers bursting with flavor, made with fresh ingredients and a healthier twist on your regular burger night.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • ¼ cup diced red onion
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • ¼ cup sun-dried tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 1 cup baby spinach, roughly chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • Butter lettuce (for serving)
  • Tzatziki sauce
  • Crumbled feta cheese
  • Sliced onion
  • Sliced tomato
  • Sliced avocado


Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix together the ground chicken, diced red onion, minced garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, chopped spinach, dill, oregano, salt, and pepper until everything is well-combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each into a large patty.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5 minutes on each side until they turn golden brown and are fully cooked through.
  4. Serve them as is or dress them up in burgers with tzatziki sauce, fresh veggies, and crumbled feta.

Notes

For perfectly juicy burgers, avoid overmixing the patty mixture. A thermometer is recommended; aim for an internal temperature of 165°F.
