Ingredients
- 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 1/2 cups white sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/4 teaspoon green food coloring
- Red sprinkles for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and baking powder; set it aside.
- In a separate bowl, combine the melted butter and white sugar, mixing until smooth and creamy.
- Beat in the egg along with the vanilla and almond extracts.
- Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until fully blended.
- Add the green food coloring and stir until the dough is a consistent hue.
- Use a spoon to drop dollops of dough onto your prepared baking sheets, and top each one with a single red sprinkle.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges of the cookies are lightly golden.
- Allow them to cool on the sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
