  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 4 hoagie rolls

  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add sliced onion and green bell pepper, sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Push vegetables to one side and add ground beef, cooking until browned.
  4. Season with salt and pepper and mix well.
  5. Place provolone cheese slices over beef and let them melt.
  6. Toast hoagie rolls in the oven or a toaster.
  7. Fill toasted rolls with the beef, onion, and cheese mixture.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Feel free to swap the beef for ground turkey or chicken, or use different types of cheese for variety.
