Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking oil for stovetop
- Burger buns
- Lettuce, tomato, and other desired toppings
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Using your hands, mix everything together until well blended, being careful not to overwork the meat.
- Form the mixture into evenly sized patties, about ½ inch thick.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a drizzle of cooking oil.
- Once the skillet is hot, place the patties in and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Serve the cooked turkey burgers on buns and top with lettuce, tomato, and any other toppings you love.
Notes
Use a food thermometer to ensure your patties are cooked perfectly. Don’t overmix the turkey mixture to avoid tough burgers.
