Description

Juicy and flavorful turkey burgers, perfect for a lighter meal without sacrificing taste.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking oil for stovetop
  • Burger buns
  • Lettuce, tomato, and other desired toppings


Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  2. Using your hands, mix everything together until well blended, being careful not to overwork the meat.
  3. Form the mixture into evenly sized patties, about ½ inch thick.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a drizzle of cooking oil.
  5. Once the skillet is hot, place the patties in and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
  6. Serve the cooked turkey burgers on buns and top with lettuce, tomato, and any other toppings you love.

Notes

Use a food thermometer to ensure your patties are cooked perfectly. Don’t overmix the turkey mixture to avoid tough burgers.
