A quick, protein-packed shrimp dish with a sweet and savory honey-garlic glaze, perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Steamed rice or vegetables for serving
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic until smooth. Set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmers.
- Add the shrimp in a single layer. Season lightly with salt and pepper. Cook undisturbed for 3–4 minutes until undersides are pink.
- Flip shrimp and cook another 3–4 minutes until opaque.
- Pour the honey-garlic sauce over the shrimp and cook for 2 minutes until the sauce reduces into a glossy glaze.
- Remove from heat and serve immediately over rice or vegetables.
Notes
For gluten-free, replace soy sauce with tamari or coconut aminos. Pat shrimp dry for best sear.
