Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat, then remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- In a large bowl, combine melted butter with granulated sugar and brown sugar, mixing until creamy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, stirring in the vanilla extract after incorporating.
- Sift together flour, cocoa powder, and salt in another bowl, then gradually fold into the wet mixture until just blended.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly, and bake for 20-25 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.
