Description

Delicious bite-sized churros coated in cinnamon sugar and served with Nutella for dipping.

Ingredients

  • 3 large Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Nutella
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon powder
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 9/16 cup White sugar
  • 1 Vegetable oil (for frying)
  • 1 stick Unsalted Butter
  • 1 cup Water

Instructions

  1. Start by bringing water, butter, and salt to a boil in a saucepan.
  2. Once boiling, quickly add in the flour and stir until this mixture forms a soft dough ball.
  3. Take it off the heat and allow it to cool slightly.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, ensuring the mixture becomes smooth and well combined after each addition.
  5. In a deep skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat until it’s hot enough for frying.
  6. Pipe the churro dough into the hot oil in your desired shapes.
  7. Fry them until they achieve a beautiful golden-brown color.
  8. After frying, place the churro bites on paper towels to drain off the excess oil.
  9. Roll them in a mix of sugar and cinnamon while they’re still warm.
  10. Serve these bites hot, paired with a side of Nutella for dipping.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh, but leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to two days.
