Description
Delicious bite-sized churros coated in cinnamon sugar and served with Nutella for dipping.
Ingredients
- 3 large Eggs
- 1/2 cup Nutella
- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- 1 tsp Cinnamon powder
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 9/16 cup White sugar
- 1 Vegetable oil (for frying)
- 1 stick Unsalted Butter
- 1 cup Water
Instructions
- Start by bringing water, butter, and salt to a boil in a saucepan.
- Once boiling, quickly add in the flour and stir until this mixture forms a soft dough ball.
- Take it off the heat and allow it to cool slightly.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, ensuring the mixture becomes smooth and well combined after each addition.
- In a deep skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat until it’s hot enough for frying.
- Pipe the churro dough into the hot oil in your desired shapes.
- Fry them until they achieve a beautiful golden-brown color.
- After frying, place the churro bites on paper towels to drain off the excess oil.
- Roll them in a mix of sugar and cinnamon while they’re still warm.
- Serve these bites hot, paired with a side of Nutella for dipping.
Notes
Best enjoyed fresh, but leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to two days.
