Description
Delightful chocolate orbs that release chocolatey goodness when dropped into hot milk.
Ingredients
- 1 cup chocolate chips (milk or dark chocolate)
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
Instructions
- Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave or using a double boiler until smooth.
- Using a silicone mold, coat the inside with the melted chocolate to create the shell.
- Place the mold in the freezer for about 10 minutes to let the chocolate harden.
- Carefully pop the hardened chocolate spheres from the mold.
- Fill half of the spheres with cocoa powder and mini marshmallows.
- Heat the edges of the empty half-spheres slightly, then press them to seal with the filled ones.
- Store your Hot Chocolate Bombs in an airtight container.
- To enjoy, drop a Hot Chocolate Bomb into a cup of hot milk and watch as it dissolves.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two weeks. For festive variations, try adding peppermint extract or covering with white chocolate and sprinkles.
