Italian Grinder Sliders


Description

Delicious mini sandwiches loaded with layers of savory deli meats and creamy provolone, perfect for gatherings and family dinners.


Ingredients

  • Slider rolls
  • Deli meats (capicola, salami, mortadella)
  • Provolone cheese
  • Butter
  • Garlic powder
  • Italian seasoning
  • Red pepper flakes
  • Pickles (optional)
  • Lettuce (optional)
  • Tomato slices (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the slider rolls in half and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  3. Layer the deli meats and slices of provolone cheese generously over the bottom halves.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together melted butter, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Brush this flavorful mixture generously over the top halves of the rolls.
  5. If desired, add pickles, lettuce, and tomato slices for extra crunch and flavor.
  6. Place the top halves of the rolls onto the loaded bottom halves.
  7. Cover the assembled sliders with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes or until the tops are golden brown and crispy.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy this flavor explosion!

Notes

For best results, let the sliders sit for a few minutes after baking for enhanced flavor infusion. Try serving with marinara sauce for dipping.
