Description

Juicy balsamic baked chicken breast marinated for maximum flavor with minimal effort, perfect for quick weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 4 Chicken breasts, boneless skinless
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp Oregano, dried
  • 1/2 cup Balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 cup Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and position a rack in the center.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, dried oregano, black pepper, and salt until combined.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in a shallow baking dish in a single layer. Pour the marinade over the chicken, turning each piece to coat both sides well. Let sit at room temperature for 10–15 minutes.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes, or until an instant-read thermometer reads 165°F (74°C) and the juices run clear.
  5. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve over rice, next to roasted vegetables, or on a bed of greens.

Notes

If your breasts are uneven, gently pound them to uniform thickness for even cooking. Use low-sodium soy sauce to reduce salt; taste the marinade and adjust as needed.
