Description

Enjoy the exquisite flavors of marinated steak, fresh vegetables, and a creamy spicy sauce all in one bowl, perfect for any weeknight dinner or gathering.

Ingredients

  • Steak (ribeye or sirloin)
  • Cooked rice (jasmine or sticky rice)
  • Soy sauce
  • Garlic (minced)
  • Ginger (freshly grated)
  • Scallions (for garnish)
  • Spicy cream sauce (sour cream, sriracha, and lime juice)
  • Sesame oil
  • Vegetables (bell peppers, carrots, or any on hand)

Instructions

  1. Marinate the steak by mixing soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil in a bowl; let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Grill or pan-fry the steak to your desired doneness; allow it to rest before slicing.
  3. Prepare a bowl with cooked rice and diced vegetables.
  4. Slice the rested steak thinly and layer it over the rice and veggies.
  5. Drizzle the spicy cream sauce over the top and sprinkle with chopped scallions.

Notes

For a zingy contrast, serve with kimchi or a cucumber salad dressed in rice vinegar. Marination longer than 30 minutes enhances flavor.
