Description

A quick and satisfying Korean ground beef bowl that’s perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 2 green onions, sliced


Instructions

  1. Heat the sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  3. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, stirring frequently.
  4. Stir in the soy sauce, brown sugar, and red pepper flakes.
  5. Let simmer for about 5 minutes.
  6. Serve over cooked rice and garnish with sliced green onions.

Notes

Can be customized with different proteins or toppings. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days or freeze for up to three months.
